On Thursday, we celebrated Aunt Ashelyn's graduation from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. We left very early from home to make it to Greensboro for the 10 o'clock graduation. It was actually a big December graduation. There were over 1600 graduates for the December graduation!
This girl had fun rocking herself in the big seats while we waited for Aunt Ashelyn's name to be called.
Brent was able to get fairly close to the level of the stage and he got pictures of Ashelyn walking across the stage with her diploma. Here is our graduate! She also graduated magna cum laude and with a Student of Excellence award. We are very proud of you, Ashelyn!
All the family met up with Ashelyn outside the Coliseum after the graduation to congratulate her.
Aunt Ashelyn wanted some family pictures for her graduation so we all went to campus with her to take those. The girls got some good time visiting with my side of the family while we waited.
Bekah was trying on Aunt Ashelyn's honor cords while she was wearing them too.
We celebrated with Aunt Ashelyn at lunch too.
What a great day celebrating with my sister! We are very proud of you and are praying for you as God leads your steps in the days ahead!
