A Fun Day with Kay Kay

As I got the girls ready for the day today and we went through our morning, I kept smiling because I knew they had no clue what a fun afternoon was planned for them.

Kay Kay had sent me a message a few days ago that she had the day off and wanted to come get the girls and take them to lunch and spend the afternoon with them. I knew they would be thrilled and we agreed to surprise them. So, they were shocked when Kay Kay arrived today.

Kay Kay sent me pictures all afternoon do we got to see all the fun they were having!
Here they are heading out on their fun day! They went out to lunch and then bowling.
Rachel got a strike during this game.
Next they went shopping and they even found Rachel's junior bridesmaid dress for Kay Kay's wedding in July.
This picture Kay Kay sent almost stopped me in my tracks. Goodness! Who is this grown up young lady?! Where did my baby go so quickly?!
She was beside herself excited though and they all got to try on all their dresses for the wedding together! I loved this picture for Bethany's pigtails with her fancy dress too!
Kay Kay took them back to her house and they got some time with Mrs. Debbie too.
They came home so excited about their day that they could hardly tell me fast enough!
And their parents...we were able to enjoy a belated Valentine's Day lunch! We went grocery shopping (amazing how much faster that task goes when there are just 2 of us working on it :-) ) and just had a few minutes of time to talk together!
Thank you Kay Kay, Debbie and Tom for loving our girls and giving them such a fun day and for all you do for their parents too!

Happy Valentine's Day 2017!

We started our Valentine's Day off with sparkly red cinnamon rolls to go with red for love for Valentine's Day. Bethany wanted no sprinkles on her cinnamon roll in the middle there.
We continued our red theme at lunch with spaghetti. Clearly, Bethany enjoyed her spaghetti tremendously!
We ended up with a crazy afternoon schedule so we were out for awhile but we did get back home in time to make their strawberry Valentine's cupcakes  (we went with pink for our color this time). Mimi had sent us a link about how to make our cupcakes shaped like hearts and it worked well.

Since our afternoon schedule all changed yesterday, I decided after their schoolwork today that we would spread our Valentine's Day celebrating into today. They loved making their own Valentine's for family and friends and they were very creative!
Happy Valentine's Day 2017 from the McGuirt Girls!

Itty Bitty Update: 30 Weeks!

Hello, World! Just a quick update on how I have been doing. My family got to see me on an ultrasound today, because the midwives wanted to do an extra checkup after my 20 week ultrasound. Everything looked just great today and I am still expected to arrive sometime in April! I am wiggly and moving all around now. As you can tell from my pictures, I hid my face a little from the camera today! My family was all so glad to see me and think I am just beautiful, even if I was hiding a little today.
Mommy goes to check ups every two weeks now and my family will get to see me on ultrasound one more time before I arrive.
My sisters all loved looking at my pictures and they were so excited to get to see me today too. Mommy and Daddy are so thankful to Jesus that I am doing so well and all my family is excited to get to meet me in just a few more weeks!
See you soon! ♡, Bitty
