"Fun with Felt"

This week we got a fun package for the girls. This was a win-win because they LOVE getting mail and they LOVED the fun inside the package!
Look at these excited faces! A few weeks ago, I saw photos of some new items on a page we follow called "Loops for Littles." It is creations of one of our friends from Swift Creek Baptist, Mrs. Phyl. She handmakes bibs, burpcloths, doll accessories and now, felt play food! This felt food is absolutely adorable! I knew our girls would love it and I love that it is handmade by a friend, so I order the girls a a few sets.
I didn't notice when I ordered but we ended up with a set of breakfast, lunch, and supper foods plus felt Goldfish crackers and felt strawberries! Here is Bekah with her felt breakfast set. She has pancakes with strawberries and bananas and an egg.

Bethany loved her felt lunch pita that she could stuff over and over again and her felt Goldfish crackers to go with it!
Rachel even enjoyed plating up some spaghetti and meatballs and salad for her sisters to enjoy too!
Here are the sets we got: Spaghetti and meatballs with garlic bread and salad, Ham and cheese pita pocket with lettuce, tomato and onion and Goldfish crackers on the side and pancakes with bananas and strawberries and egg too.  The sets are so cute and I was so impressed with how beautifully made they are and how detailed. The cucumber is even sown together in layers, the onion is stitched so it looks very real, and the garlic bread even has embroidered spices on it!!
Here is Chef Rachel with the spaghetti and meatballs.

Here is Bekah playing with her pancake and eggs.
Bethany loved putting her pita together again and again...I think she might have even stuffed in a Goldfish or strawberry a time or two!
Her sisters kept talking about how they couldn't wait till Allie got older and she could play with the felt food with them.
Thanks, Mrs. Phyl, for making such neat felt food. These girls have certainly enjoyed their new food sets this week. We are looking forward to many more fun play times with their felt food and they are hoping to order more soon :-)

Lunch with Aunt Ashelyn

Last week, my sister called me and said "Are you in town?" I said, "Yes, where are you?" I found out she had to come into town for an event for just a few hours and was hoping to meet the girls and I for lunch.
The big girls were so glad to see her!  Bekah was actually wearing a dress that was her Aunt Ashelyn's when she was a little girl! We were especially glad we were able to get together so she could meet Allie Grace for the first time. Aunt Ashelyn was unable to get off work when Allie was born so we were glad she could meet her now!!
We enjoyed lunch and visiting for just a short while. Allie loved to sleep in her Aunt Ashelyn ' s arms.
Thanks for coming to meet Allie, Aunt Ashelyn! Thanks for being a great aunt and all the ways you love all 4 of our little ladies! We love you!
