We had a fun New Year's Eve this year. We were really looking forward to welcoming 2021 and and hoping that it would be a much better year than 2020. We certainly never expected 2020 to be a year of a pandemic. Though 2020 brought many unexpected challenges with the pandemic, there were definitely blessings to be found in 2020 as well!
Usually, over the past couple of years we went to a nearby town for the Mt. Olive Pickle Drop. Yes, a giant pickle dropped on New Year's Eve. It's always fun and the kids love it, but of course, it was unable to be held this year due to the pandemic. We did watch several previous Pickle Drops that were shared on TV this year. Hopefully, the Pickle Drop will return in 2022 and we will continue our New Year's Eve tradition!
