Rebekah Goes to Tumbling Camp

While Bethany and Rachel had camp in the morning, Bekah had Tumbling Camp in the afternoon.
They did some warm ups before they tumbled.
They colored pictures of part of the leg muscles used in dance.
Her sisters loved being able to watch part of Bekah's tumbling routine.
Bekah learned a new skill with her handstand this week!
She has mastered her cartwheel too.
Thank you, Mrs. Suzi, for a great week of Tumbling Camp too! Bekah loved learning new tumbling skills this week!

Rachel Goes to Arts Camp

Rachel headed to Arts Camp this week. They painted, used ink, worked with fabric and mixed media in their designs they created this week! On Friday, they made a lunch and reception where we could see all the art the students had created this week.

Here is Pirate Rachel. This was her mixed media pirate self portrait.
Her sisters loved seeing all her art. She also made a mobile, a canvas wall hanging of the solar system and a cool t-shirt to wear.
She also created this awesome blue, red and orange geometric square!
Here is Rachel with Ms. Kara from Arts Camp.
We are so proud of our artist! She had a great time at Arts Camp this week!

Bethany Goes to Princess Camp

This past week Bethany headed to the The PerformingArts School for Princess Camp. The first day was mermaid day and Bethany was thrilled.
Rachel had camp in the mornings this past week so Bekah and Allie helped me take our favorite little mermaid to camp the first day.
She had a "fintastic" first day of Princess Camp with Mrs. Suzi.
"Snow White" loved Day 2 of Princess Camp also. Her outfit was actually Bekah's first recital costume and Bethany loves it!
"Cinderella" headed to Princess Camp on the last day.
 Bethany loved the parachute!
They also practiced being presented with their princess crowns and wands.
Here is Bethany with the Prince.
They also made cute door hangers to take home too.
Thank you, Mrs. Suzi, for a great week of Princess Camp. Our little Princess loved all of it!

Smoky Mountain Fun 2018

We enjoyed our trip to the Great Smoky Mountains a couple of weeks ago.
Though we were really busy during the days of our Smoky Mountains trip, their girls and their Dad made sure to work out some time to play at the edge of the creek by the campground each afternoon.

These two sisters had fun together while the big sisters were away having fun at camp too.
More water fun with our trip to the aquarium while we were there.
Allie is keeping an eye on that fish coming towards her!
She was fascinated by all the fish this trip.
 Look over their heads too...
Bethany made a penguin friend while we were at the aquarium
We also found this little mermaid!
Of course, while we were there we had some great photography and hiking time. Maxpatch has been one of our favorites since Brent surprised me with a trip there in college. It most certainly did not disappoint on this evening! One of the most beautiful sunsets I've enjoyed in awhile!
See the photographer capturing the moment...
The girls loved the wildflowers up on the mountain.

 She liked the wild daises
We had a great sunset the following night as well.

 She has so much joy!
Nana came up for the last part of our trip and we got to share another beautiful sunset with her too.

One final beautiful sunset date overlooking Gatlinburg with my love.
It was a very full trip with our photography event, camp for Rachel and Rebekah, great visits with friends and family, some epic light and lots of forever memories!

Camp Living Water 2018: Rebekah ' s 1st Time at Camp!

Then there were two...happy campers! As summer approached this year, we began talking about camp for Rachel. As we talked about it more, Bekah decided she thought she was ready for camp too. We talked with Mr. Joel, the director at Camp Living Water, and he said yes, she could begin coming to camp this year. She was thrilled and ready to begin packing right away...even though we still had several weeks to wait. Camp check in day finally arrived and she was ready!
Here are the two happy campers together!
Rachel was excited about her 3rd year of camp at Camp Living Water too!
Bekah was downstairs in the Lodge and Rachel was upstairs. They were excited to get settled in their cabins!
This girl was excited to find her spot in Cabin 10
We got her bunk all ready and she was ready for the camp fun to start!
Cabin 16 is one of the oldest girls cabins and Rachel was thrilled to be there! We have 2 more years of Junior Camp and then this girl can be a teen camper...wow, time flies!
We got her all settled in too and ready for a great week.
They were having Prime Time, evening games, once we got the happy campers settled. Bekah jumped right in and was ready to play.
We ran by camp once during the week because Bekah wanted us to check on her. They both were doing great. The little sisters were thrilled to see their big sisters for a few minutes and get some hugs!

We also got to see Bekah help with the flag lowering before it was time for evening chapel.
Friday rolled around and it was time to pick them up. They were tired and happy and Bekah loved her first week of camp at Camp Living Water!
Can't believe Bekah is old enough to be sitting on the swing as a camper already, but she was ready and had so much fun!
Rachel is already planning for next summer
Bethany just loves that swing! She may spend all her time there when she is old enough to be a camper too!
Allie was only 3 months old last time we were at CLW, so she loved sitting on the swing like a big girl this year.
We are so thankful for the great week both Bekah and Rachel had at Camp Living Water this year! I am loving hear still about the things they each learned in chapel or the verses they studied. Rachel memorized all of Psalm 1 this past week at camp. I'm also praying that God continues to use the things they learned at camp this week for years to come in their own lives to draw them even closer to Him as I know He has done with truths and things He taught me during my own time at Camp Living Water! A huge thank you to all who served and poured their time into sharing Jesus with our girls and all the other campers at CLW this past week and throughout the summer too - Thank you!
