Welcome, Aletheia Grace!

On Thursday, April 13, 2017, we welcomed Aletheia Grace McGuirt into our family. She was born at 1:13 pm in Wilmington, NC. The hospital used military time so she was born at 13:13 pm according to this time. She weighed 6 pounds and 8 ounces. She and her big sister Bethany were only 0.7 ounces apart in weight. She was our longest baby by far at 20.5 inches.
With all our daughters, we have used Biblical words or names. Aletheia is no exception.  It is pronounced Ah-LAY-thee-ah. Aletheia is actually the Greek word used in the Bible for the word truth. Her middle name is Grace, so her name literally means Truth and Grace. We are thankful for both God's truth and grace in giving us Aletheia Grace to love and raise for His Glory. For now, we will be calling her Allie.

She was able to meet her big sisters the day after she was born and they all love her very, very much already!

Here we are getting ready to leave the hospital on Saturday.

We are so thankful for a safe delivery and a healthy precious baby girl. She is a sweetheart and we  are enjoying her so much already. We thank God for protecting her throughout her arrival and pray He will help us raise her to follow His truth and trust always in His Grace!
