Rachel started asking when she could get her ears pierced. We talked about and decided that she was ready. She wanted to get them pierced before Thanksgiving so she could show all our family. She got a little nervous just beforehand, but was thrilled as soon as she saw her new earrings in her ears

We asked Rebekah while Rachel was getting her ears pierced if she wanted to go ahead and get her ears pierced too. She emphatically said No and that she would wait until she was 9 also. Well, that lasted 4 days...by the weekend she was ready to get her ears pierced too!

She finished getting her ears pierced and said "that didn't even hurt!" She was a very brave girl.
