Recently, we had another exciting event in our family. Brent has the opportunity to display his photos in Shenandoah National Park. Brent was asked by the concession manager at Skyland and Big Meadows to have his canvases and matted prints in the lodges in Shenandoah National Park! His canvases are hanging in the lobbies and great rooms of both lodges and his matted prints of the park will be for sale in both gift shops as well. Here are Kevin and Brent looking at the inventory of Brent's prints for the gift shops.
As part of the project, he had the chance to help place and personally hang all the canvases in both lodges.
We began with hanging the pictures in Skyland Lodge. Since we had our recent weekend camping trip, Brent had several pictures to hang that were taken within 5 miles of the lodge itself.
He was able to hang canvases in both the gift shop and lobby area of Skyland and in the lobby and meeting room of the lodge as well. This panoramic canvas is hanging over the check-in area in the Skyland Lodge.

We had a great lunch at Skyland and then headed down to Big Meadows Lodge to hang the rest of the canvases there.
Brent started hanging the canvases near the check in area at Big Meadows Lodge.
He also hung several in the meeting room or great room area of the lodge including this one that was placed over the fireplace there.
These little ladies had fun "hanging" out with us all day as we hung pictures. They loved reading books from the lodge's book basket or playing board games. Did you know the game Jenga makes a great set of building blocks?
Here are some of the twenty-one canvases displayed. We are so proud of Brent and thankful for this opportunity. To have the opportunity to display his photography in Shenandoah National Park and have people from all over the world see his photographs and the beauty of the park and God's creation is awesome!
