FMBC Homecoming 2015

Today, we celebrated our Homecoming at FMBC. This is always a special day.
Brent preached a great sermon from Ephesians 1 about God's great love for us and the redemption that is given to us through Jesus.

Following the sermon was a concert from Sunday Drive. They are a Christian group from Knoxville, TN and they did a great job!
Here are Rachel and her daddy listening to the concert.
This little lady had fun in the nursery with her friends and Mrs. Sherry while the service was going on today.
As Homecoming comes up each year, I always notice a little more how each of the girls has grown since the last Homecoming. This is especially true with Bekah this year. She was about 2 months old at our first Homecoming at FMBC in 2011 and she will turn 4 on Thursday as we celebrate this year's Homecoming!

Then it was time to eat and visit!

Bethany is really liking church potlucks already. She ate one whole bowl of macaroni and cheese all by herself and maybe even got to taste a couple of bites of chocolate cake too.

We had several of our church family who were not able to be at Homecoming today because of injury or illness and we missed each one of them! We did get to visit with Mrs. Linda and Mr. Wayne for a little while this afternoon and are continuing to pray for them. We enjoyed the beautiful flowers they sent to decorate the sanctuary table today for Homecoming as well!
We are thankful for another great Homecoming day and the opportunity to have this special day with our church family and friends!
