The week after Easter my mom had Spring Break from school where she is an elementary school guidance counselor. She called me on Monday night and said " I think we are coming up tomorrow." She and Pop hadn't seen the girls since Christmas but needed to be back by Wednesday night. They literally arrived around 5 pm on Tuesday and had to leave by noon on Wednesday. So we had a good but fast visit with them.
Both our girls are fascinated by technology as you can see. They thoroughly enjoyed playing with Pop's Iphone instead of Mom and Dad's boring phones.
We also learned that Rachel really likes chili. I can't eat chili due to the spice so I had not fed it to Rachel before. Pop was kind to share and she probably ate about half of his bowl of chili!
After supper, we headed back to our house. The girls put on a dance show for Mimi and Pop. Then Mimi and Pop had a surprise for them. In addition to seeing the girls, my mom brought a few things my grandmother had sent and the girls' surprise...
This wooden horse was made for me by my dad when I was little. My girls were thrilled to try it out and it was neat to see them riding this horse that I remember riding as a child
Good to see you, Mimi and Pop! Thanks for coming to visit us! We Love You!
