Palm Sunday

 Every Palm Sunday, our FMBC kids take part in the worship service by bringing in palm branches and singing praises to Jesus. Here they are practicing with Mrs. Judith and Mrs. Debbie on Sunday morning.

 This is the first year Little Miss has been big enough to join the big kids as they sing and praise the Lord. She thought having her own palm branch to carry was the best!

 She did get a little nervous but then she was all good and headed back up to join the big kids.
All the kids did a great job. They all looked so grown up as they marched in and around the sanctuary and they sang beautifully for Jesus!

Palm Sunday 2016
 With Easter in March this year, Palm Sunday actually occurred on the same day as the first day of Spring. I thought this was so fitting. As we approach Resurrection Sunday and the celebration of new life we have in Christ, all around us God is giving us little reminders of new life in the flowers, trees and plants that He causing to grow in new life again this Spring. I am so thankful for the new life that Jesus has given me through His death on the cross for me and the forgiveness and victory that He offers over sin and death through His resurrection. I am thankful for each of these precious little ones and their great example of love for Jesus and their praising Him on this special Palm Sunday!

"He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Corinthians 5:21

Psalm 150
"Praise the Lord!
Praise God in His sanctuary;
Praise Him in His mighty expanse.

 Praise Him for His mighty deeds;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness.

 Praise Him with trumpet sound;
Praise Him with harp and lyre.
 Praise Him with timbrel and dancing;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.
 Praise Him with loud cymbals;
Praise Him with resounding cymbals.
 Let everything that has breath praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord!"
