Happy Pi Day!
We had a short lesson with the girls this morning about Pi and the number that it is and how today's date is the same as the beginning of Pi (3.14). They thought this was really fun and were even more excited when I told them they could have a piece of pie to celebrate Pi Day!
We spent a big part of the day in Charlottesville checking on friends and church family. It was good to see my friend Molly for a little while. We also had a really good visit with Mrs. Nancy and her daughter Martha today. We were so glad to see how well she is doing!
After we got home this evening, it was time for...PIE! This girl loved her piece of the pie! Her big sisters liked it a lot too.
What a fun reason to celebrate Pie and Pi! Happy Pi Day!
