Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2016!

We did most of our crafts yesterday since I was scheduled to work today instead. During Bethany's nap time, the big girls got festive St. Patrick's Day green fingers and toes.

We also made t-shirts for all the girls. We used their thumbprint to make a 3 leaf clover. We also talked about how the story is told that St. Patrick used the 3 leaf clover to teach people about God and help them understand the Trinity.
 We also made clover suncatchers.

Tonight after I finished work, we did make our St. Patrick's Day cupcakes.

and cheer the Tarheels to victory!

The girls and I had a lot of fun preparing for and celebrating St. Patrick's Day. While we enjoyed the arts and crafts and fun times, I also enjoyed helping them learn more about St. Patrick and how he shared God's love and truth with the people around him.
Happy St. Patrick's Day from our family to yours!
