Happy Birthday, Rachel!

                             
  Today this precious girl turned 7! While it doesn't seem possible that Rachel is 7 already, she sure has made our life over the past 7 years exciting and fun!

 Rachel asked for streamers to decorate for her birthday and I wanted her to have something in her room to decorate for when she woke up in the morning. She and Bekah decided to share Bekah's bed last night. So after Rachel and Bekah were asleep, I tiptoed up to put streamers all over the bed for her to find when she woke up in the morning. It was really fun and with the shape of the toddler bed, the streamers hovered just above them while they slept.

 This morning was Happy Birthday Pancakes for breakfast. Yep, those little letters are not only for decorating cakes...

 Here she is on her last day being 6 and this morning as a 7 year old!

 After schoolwork, we had birthday lunch as a family.She requested tacos for our lunch and we had birthday cake too. She had carrot cake this past week in North Carolina and really liked it, so she requested carrot cake for her birthday this year.

 She had dance this afternoon

 and mini cupcakes with her dance friends.

 They also got to use their new ballerina backpacks with their names on them that they got from Aunt Brittany, Uncle Jason and Saylor for their ballet gear today.

 As requested, she got several new books from the Boxcar Children series and yes, she was excited!

 She loved her cheese quesadilla she picked out for supper too.

 She is getting close to finishing one of her new birthday books already just from what she read tonight! Little bookworm!
 

 Happy 7th Birthday, Rachel! You are so brave and full of life! We are so thankful to be your parents and see all that God has planned up ahead for you! Keep trusting Him and walking in His ways always! We love you so very much!
