Welcome, Little Niece!

Welcome, Saylor Wren!

This week our family had another first as we welcomed our first niece and baby girl cousin for the girls, Saylor Wren, to our family. We became aunt and uncle back in July to our first little nephew, Inman. Saylor, our first niece, is the daughter of Brent's brother Jason and his wife Brittany. She was born on Sunday, November 1 at 9:08 pm weighing 6 pounds and 9 ounces and was 19 inches long. She decided to come 15 days early and is doing well! We were excited to meet her and were able to go down to NC for just a couple of days to meet her the end of this week.
Uncle Brent got to hold her first and I think she could tell he is the daddy of girls already because she slept the entire time he held her.

I got to hold her next and she had just had a diaper change so I got to see her beautiful eyes and hold her while she was awake for a bit!

These girls were thrilled to meet their new cousin. Bethany, Inman and Saylor are all born within 16 months of each other. Those 3 are going to have a blast together when they get a little older!

The big girls cousins even got to hold Saylor for just a few minutes (their daddy was sitting just outside the picture to help a little). They both loved holding her and she was very content too. Thanks, Aunt Brittany, for letting them hold Saylor. You made their week, for sure! They haven't stopped talking about getting to hold Saylor!

The weather cleared up some in the afternoon while we were there and we got to go with Saylor on her first walk around the neighborhood too. What a fun memory to tell Saylor we were able to go on her first walk with her!
Our new niece is beautiful and we were so glad to get to meet her and enjoy time with her and her mom and dad this weekend. Looking forward to making many fun family memories together with our cousins, Saylor and Inman. We love you, Saylor Wren and are excited to see all God has planned for you! You are precious and we are so glad you are here safely!
