Happy Resurrection Day 2015!

We began Easter Sunday with an early outdoor service at FMBC. We hold the service out by the cross at the top of the hill. It was a blessing and a joyful way to start our Easter day.
Here is our family beside the cross after the early morning service.
Here is our Bethany Joy on her first Easter morning.
After the early morning service, we had a delicious breakfast cooked by the FMBC Deacons and men of the church. Here are the girls with some of their friends at the breakfast.
During the Sunday School time all the kids and youth were together to make Resurrection rolls. A friend shared this idea a few years ago and we have been doing it with all the kids at FMBC on Easter morning for the past couple of years. Here are the girls and some of their friends putting together their Resurrection rolls. After this, we had the morning worship service.

Our Family, Easter 2015

We had to be sure and get a picture of the girls together. Their great-grandmother, my Grams, buys each of their Easter dresses and mine each year. She has done this since I was much younger and every year for our girls since they were born.

After church, we headed to lunch with our friends Sarah and Maverick and their boys. We had been trying to get together with them for lunch over the past few weeks and finally were able to get together.

My family has had a large family reunion on Easter for over 90 years but with us now living farther away we are not able to make it back for the reunion each year. Our friends, Matt and Molly, invited us to join their family Easter celebration at Molly's parents house this year.
We had a wonderful time with Molly and Matt, their girls, both sets of their parents and Molly's brother. They were so welcoming to us and fed us a yummy meal as well!
The girls all played. Here is Bekah giving Aleah crawling lessons and Bekah giving her friend Hannah a hug.

Molly and Matt's mom even got our girls Easter baskets too! I thought this was just so kind of them to do this for our girls and the girls loved their baskets and balloons too! We had a wonderful time celebrating Easter with your family, Coiner, Coiner and Hurst Families! Thanks so much for having us!
Later in the day the girls opened their Easter baskets from Brent and me.
This year's favorite items were the bug catching boxes and the magnifying glass. Bethany got one in her basket too so she can collect with her sisters when she gets older.
We had a blessed day celebrating our risen Savior with our family, our church family and good friends. Thanking Jesus for who He is and the great grace and blessing of being forgiven in Him!
