On the day before Easter, we had several fun Easter activities planned. First, we headed over to our friends, Matt and Molly's church, Vesuvius Baptist for their Easter Egg hunt. Their egg hunt was indoors this year and these girls really got into finding the eggs!
They had invited the Easter bunny to come and while we were already there we got a picture. All the girls did great though getting all of them to look was a bit of a challenge!
Then we made it each more of a challenge and tried to get all 5 girls to look at one time! Definitely cute but imagine how many pictures we took trying to get everyone to look the same direction!
Here is the littlest one in her first bunny picture.
And here are the big girls with real bunnies! One of the families brought bunnies and baby chicks for the kids to see. This was great and our girls loved it!
One of the gentlemen held a chick up for Bethany to see and she just reached right out and touched it.
and here are the little girls with the bunnies too.
After our fun morning at the egg hunt at Vesuvius,we headed by the Raphine Fire Department to get our first BBQ chicken of the year. We were going to stay there for a while and eat but it was super windy, so we brought it home to eat.
Later that evening, we had our first family egg dyeing event. The girls had not done this before and they had so much fun. We colored and recolored those 10 eggs over and over. They would take an egg out of one color and let it dry and then decide they wanted to put it back in another color. They did make some very pretty eggs. I can tell this is something we will be doing every year.
We had lots of Easter fun today!
