Welcome, September!

September 2, 2012

             

September has become a very eventful month in our family.  We celebrate our wedding anniversary this month. We also found out this time last year that God was moving us to a new place as we serve Him. Add to that welcoming Rebekah Faith into our hearts and home on September 24th of this past year.

We will also celebrate 6 months in our new home and Rebekah's first birthday at the end of this month.

      Through all the wonderful changes and additions of this past year and at times the difficulties and trials, we have seen God bless us abundantly in this past year. In all things from a special friend sharing her matching dresses for our girls to the Lord's provision for our home, we have seen God's faithfulness this year! From the adventures of moving with a 4 week old (and the help of some wonderful family members) to living in someone else's home to moving into our own home all in 5 months, God has provided His Grace for each step of our journey.
 As we look back in thankfulness over this past year at all God has done and look ahead in hope and trust for all HE is going to do, we praise Him for His Grace. We are reminded of His promise that "being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will carry to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." Philippians 1:6
