Happy Father's Day, Brent!

We were around the Asheville area over Father's Day weekend as part of a NC mountains photography trip. We talked about areas we still needed to photograph in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Brent decided we should spend a day in the Big Creek area of the park. Being out in the National Park all day with our favorite guy made a great day for the girls and me and I think Brent enjoyed his day too!
Here is Brent and Allie before we started to hike. This is his first Father's Day since Allie was born and his first being a dad of 4 daughters! He does a great job and they are all Daddy's girls!
We started up the trail and came to Midnight Hole first. It was beautiful but incredibly crowded. It was a fun time to play but not the right time for photography. After we played a little while, we hiked on up to Mouse Creek Falls to see it as well. There were only 2 other people there when we arrived so Brent took a few shots while we were there. We had tried one other time to do this hike and the weather changed our plans, so it was nice to finally be able to do this hike.
This is one of my favorite images of the day of Brent as he was photographing Mouse Creek Falls.
On our way back down the trail, later in the day, we stopped back by Midnight Hole. Since it was a little later, we were the only ones there this time. It is a beautiful spot, busy or quiet!
I love this picture. Our 3 big girls were playing at the edge of the creek while Brent took a few shots from in the creek and I was sitting on the bank holding Allie and taking pictures of them all♡
Allie looks very happy to be with her Daddy on Father's Day as well. We love those little smiles she is starting to give us.
We enjoyed celebrating with you today, Brent! You are an excellent Das and husband too! We hope you had a great day and we love you!
