Fall Festivities 2015!

The girls had been looking forward to all the fun fall activities of the past couple of days! Yesterday, we headed to downtown Lexington for lots of candy and fun! We started doing this the second year we moved here (we moved the last weekend in October the first year and were surrounded by moving boxes) and it has quickly become tradition for the girls.
This year,we had 3 Little Ariels from the Little Mermaid. Ariel has long been a favorite of Rachel's and last year they were Cinderella, who was Bekah's favorite then. Though I think both the big girls are switching up on me as I was told this week that Belle is now the favorite of the both!
Here we are headed to downtown.
First stop on Main Street was the Nationwide office to meet up with Kay Kay and let Mrs. Debbie see the girls dressed up. Kaitlin and I had planned earlier in the week that we would meet there so she could go with the girls around downtown too. The girls were thrilled!

Then we headed the rest of the way down Main Street where we saw some friends, met a giant duck and got lots of candy along the way!

Thanks Kay Kay for coming with us! We had a blast!
After eating supper at home, we headed just down the road to try something new. Just a few miles from our house is Clark's Ole Time Music Center. We had never been before and decided to try it out. The girls had such fun listening and dancing along to the music.

There were even some of the other couples there who took the big girls around and showed them some of the dance steps.
Here is the smallest mermaid with her little fin.

It was a really fun time and I am sure we will go back again sometime! This evening we headed to one of the local churches Trunk or Treats. We usually go here every year as well. It is hard to see from the picture here but the girls are actually looking at a little puppy who had fallen asleep in his owner's football helmet. He was so tiny that he fit right inside!

This was a happy Little Mermaid!

It has been a fun weekend of Fall Festivities this year!
