Today we enjoyed having Mr. and Mrs. Filiberto come visit us for the day. Alyssa and Kevin came to church with us and spent the afternoon visiting with us. Brent preached a great sermon on God's grace from Ephesians 1.
I told Alyssa I have been sitting by her in church now for over 10 years since we first met while she was in youth group while we were serving at Swift Creek Baptist!
It was great to get to visit with Alyssa and Kevin today. We had not gotten to see them since the girls were in their wedding back in July.
After church, we headed to Don T's for lunch. I talked to Alyssa earlier in the week and we agreed that Mexican food sounded good for lunch to everyone.
Bekah was all into being a hairstylist today and kept wanting to braid Alyssa's hair while we were waiting.
Bekah had just gotten a Play-Doh set for her birthday. Mimi and Pop sent her money for her birthday to pick out a present and the Play-Doh set is what she picked. She could not wait for Alyssa and Kevin to get to our house this afternoon so she could open it and do Play-Doh with them.
Alyssa and Kevin brought Bekah a birthday gift and Rachel a gift as well. They have had fun all evening with their stickers, coloring books and canvases to color. It was a great gift for these girls who love art!

It was such fun to have Alyssa and Kevin visit us today. We have know Alyssa since she was in middle school and just coming into youth group and have been blessed to count her and her family as good friends for the past 10 years. It is so neat to have watched from that time as she went through school and is now married herself. It is a blessing and an encouragement to us to now have her and Kevin as friends and see them serving the Lord faithfully in their family! Thanks for the encouragement you all are to us!
We loved having you all visit! Come see us again anytime!
