"Time for a Checkup"

 On Friday, Bethany and I headed to Rockbridge Pediatrics for her well check up. They took the usual weight and measurements.
Weight: 14 pounds, 10 ounces
Height: 25.5 inches

 Bethany "sings" very often. We call it her song, which is baby noises that sound very much like she is singing the word "Hey" with a few other sounds added it. So she sang her song and sat up for Dr. Ellis. She was also completely captivated by Dr. Ellis's stethoscope and "helped" her hold it the majority of the time she was checking her.

 We have started her with almost all vegetables and some fruits now. Dr.Ellis said this was good and we got the ok to try some dairy in the form of plain yogurt. So we will see what she thinks of that this week.

                                  
This little lady has had a big week. She started sitting on her own on Saturday and then got her first tooth on Tuesday (that is the little tiny dot beside my finger, as you can see she wasn't too thrilled about showing off her tooth yet). She had her well check on Friday and got 3 shots. She said something that sounded very much like "Mama" yesterday and I found another tooth right beside the first one today!
We are very thankful for our precious Bethany and enjoying watching her grow! We love you, Bethany!
