"Paint Party"

Actually, we returned to Colonial Heights this past week with a goal in mind. Our renters, of our home near Richmond, moved out this past week and we headed down to do some readying of our home there in preparation to put it on the market to sell. I got a few pictures of the girls for them to remember our house here. The front porch picture is special because one of the last times we were at this house Bekah was small enough to be the one in the infant car seat and now she is the "little big sister." I also made sure to get one of all 3 girls in the ladybug room. Brent painted this room and put up the border when we were expecting Rachel and this was both Rachel and Bekah's first room. Yes, I kept a piece of the border for each of them as this was one of the rooms to be painted.

We had several indoor projects including uncovering these beautiful wood stairs that had been covered with carpet. Brent installed a new kind of backsplash over the stove.
Thanks to some great friends we also painted 7 rooms in 2 days. Thank you so much to Bill, Judy, Jason and Kristie for spending all day Tuesday helping us with painting and to Skipper and Donald for traveling all the way to Colonial Heights to help with all the projects as well.

Taking a much needed food break!

Thanks also to Aunt Ashelyn for coming to take care of the girls while we worked. They had a wonderful time with you!
There are still things to be done but we got a lot ready in 3 days! We are hoping to have it on the market in just a few weeks! We are trusting the Lord to work out all the timing and details of selling our house in Colonial Heights and we are praying already for the people that it will belong to next!
