Fun with Family

 The weekend of Valentine's Day we enjoyed having Brent's brothers and sister in laws come to visit us. They came around this time last year to ski as well. This was our second annual McGuirt sibling ski trip. First on Friday evening, we headed to the FMBC Sweetheart Banquet. We enjoyed a great meal, had fun watching some of the couple play the "Newlywed Game".
The next morning we all got ready and headed to Wintergreen to ski for the day. Rachel began to learn to ski last year but Brent skied along and held her up between his skis. This year it was her turn to try to ski a little on her own.

 Rachel skied for about an hour and even went down part of a green slope with the group. Then that was it. She came to join Rebekah and I in the lodge for lunch. After lunch we headed over to the Mountain Inn for dessert. Rachel and I found out last year that the General Store there sells Lindor Truffles for $0.50 each. So we each got a couple of truffles for dessert. Rebekah even had pieces of one. I think she might like chocolate as much as Rachel and I do!

 While the rest of the group was out skiing, it began to snow pretty hard. The girls and I ventured out for just a few minutes, but it was too windy and cold even in the stroller, and we quickly headed back in. The resort actually got about 3-4 inches of snow while we were there.

 We had a great day skiing and visiting with our family. We enjoyed all going to church together Sunday morning and had a good lunch together before everyone had to head back to NC. We are looking forward to next year's ski weekend. Thanks for coming to visit, Jared and Brooke and Jason and Brittany. We love you all and look forward to seeing you again soon!
