On Easter morning, we headed to Salemburg Baptist Church, where I grew up in church and where Nana has her church home now. We arrived early so here is all our crew waiting for the Easter Service to begin.
We saw Nana for just a couple of minutes before the worship service started.
We enjoyed the time celebrating our Savior ' s resurrection
We headed back to Clinton for lunch.
These cousins had fun spending some Easter time together!

and then it was time for Easter lasagna!
The cousins even got a little time on the lake on the paddle boat at Nana's house.
A little while after lunch, we headed to our second family gathering of the day. My family has a family reunion and Easter egg hunt every Easter afternoon and this has happened every year at least since my grandmother was a young girl! The past several years we lived too far away to make it back for the Easter Sunday reunion. Last year, we were back in NC and the girls were able to go to the egg hunt, but Brent and I had just brought Allie home from the hospital the day before Easter so we didn't get to go still. This year, we all were able to be apart of the family reunion fun!
The big girls were ready. They have the kids divided into 2 groups and Rachel and Rebekah were ready to find some eggs!
Allie loved finding her two eggs but she only wanted to hold the green egg. She was focused on that green egg!
Bethany found the gold egg for her age group so she won a prize for finding this egg!
The big girls were hunting for eggs in a separate group from the younger two. Thanks to my picture takers, Ashelyn and Emma, I do have some pictures of Rachel and Bekah as they looked for eggsy6
Allie loved her 1st Easter egg hunt!
I just loved this picture because as Bethany and I are smiling and not looking down, Allie is reaching in to get all of Bethany's eggs!
The girls got their eggs counted and Rachel tied for the most eggs in her age group with 31 eggs
Then it was time for food!
We visited and visited and then got a few family pictures as everyone was heading home

It was great to be at the Easter egg hunt with all my family! It brought great memories of my times coming to the egg hunt and so neat to now bring my girls to the egg hunt as well!!
