Happy 4th of July!

We had a jam packed full Fourth of July this year! After Brent got both booths set up at VMI (we had a booth for Brent's photography and a booth with our church at the VMI 4th of July Balloon Rally), we headed downtown to the Children's 4th of July Parade. We made quick work of decorating the wagon thanks to Brent's help and the big girls were ready to roll.
Bethany was not sure what she thought of all the excitement at first, but then she was ready to ride for awhile with snack in hand.

Thanks to one of our youth friends, Abigail, we did get a picture of all 5 of us for the 4th of July.
After the Childrens' Parade, we headed back up to VMI to our booths. I didn't get a chance to get any pictures at the church booth this time since I was in the photography tent. Brent did get a chance to meet our Congressman, Bob Goodlatte, while we were out at VMI.

There are always fun inflatables out at VMI for the kids. Kay Kay came out and helped with all the girls for awhile. She took the big girls out for a turn on all the inflatables. Look at those giant smiles!
This was our 4th year out at the VMI balloon rally and we got the chance to see the most balloons we have seen so far flying at the rally this year.

We finished a full, fun and exhausting day with some beautiful fireworks. We had a great day celebrating our country and we are thankful for the freedom so many have given of themselves for us to have. Happy 4th of July!
